Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has flagged-off the rehabilitation of the 12-kilometre Awomamma Okwudor road in Orlu Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor said that the government has decided to fix the highway within the next few months.
This is in fulfilment of its reconstruction, rehabilitation, and recovery programme plans to make the Awomamma Okwudor road motorable.
The new road which is to be delivered in 18 months will boost business and inter relationship among neighboring communities.
Governor Uzodinma also visited bad spots at the Onitsha-Owerri-Mgbidi road to assertain the level of decay.

The Governor has assured that his administration will not leave any stone unturned in its effort towards fixing the state infrastructures.
