A Federal High Court in Kano has sentenced a 42 year old Salisu Tanko to seven years imprisonment plus One million Naira fine for sexual exploitation.
Justice Sa’adatu Mark found the defendant guilty of a one count charge of sexually exploiting a 13 year old minor whom he offered five hundred Naira.

In the event the convict fails to pay the one million Naira fine, the court has ordered an additional one year imprisonment.
