Police in Niger say they have arrested a 30-year-old suspect, Abubakar Yakubu for defiling minors within his community in the Limawa area of Minna.
Commissioner of Police, CP Shawulu Danmamman while parading the suspect alongside 14 others said, Yakubu confessed that his inability to woo older ladies around, led him into the crime.
Niger state police command began the new year with the harvest of 15 suspected criminals which include a serial rapist and 4 others for other offenses, 4 suspected kidnappers, a suspected terrorist, a suspected car thief, 2 suspected informants, and 6 other suspected drug dealers.
Among them is a 30-year-old Abubakar Yakubu who CP Danmamman said, is suspected to be a rapist arrested for defiling minors within his Limawa area located within the metropolis.

The Commissioner of Police further disclosed that the suspects’ relatives were not spared in his evil act, as his nemesis had caught up with him.
Confessing the crime, the 30-year-old suspect, Abubakar Yakubu said he has been into the act for more than a year now and derives pleasure from doing so.
The suspect also said he lured them with at least 50 to 100 naira before executing his plans.
He further attested to the fact that his inability to woo older ladies within his community made him venture into the crime.
While frowning at such act to be done to his relatives, the suspect said he would not take it likely with anyone caught doing so to his family member.
