The planned national youth summit of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP will begin from the southeast region of the country, according to information released by the national leadership of the major opposition political party in Nigeria.

Inaugurating the summit planning committee in Enugu, Wednesday, PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus, told Nigerian youths that it is time for them to rise and take up the leadership challenge in the country.

Speaking through the southeast zone national vice chairman, Austin Umahi, the PDP notes that the good intentions and lessons of the recent #EndSARS protests before it was unfortunately hijacked by hoodlums, were not lost on the party.
