The coalition of Nigerian entertainers has frowned at the non-accessibility of the fifty billion naira creative industry loan coordinated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The coalition led by the registrar of the association, Kenule Nwiya expressed the displeasure during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami in Abuja.

Nwiya said the coalition has made several attempts to draw the attention of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the challenges they go through to access the loan.

He also queried claims by the CBN that more than N50 billion loan has been accessed by the industry.

Playing host to the coalition special assistant to the president, Abiodun Aikomo, who represented the minister, however, urged them to formally write and document their request; promising that all their concerns will be duly addressed.

He appreciated the role the industry is playing in the task of nation building, pointing out that the development of a nation is a collective responsibility.

The coalition assured the Attorney General of the Federation to partner with critical key players  for a peaceful nation.
