The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu has charged officers and men of the police command to show professionalism as they serve in the state.
Alamutu who gave the charge Wednesday at the command headquarters Eleweran, Abeokuta said any officer caught in any act working against the code and conduct of the police will face the full wrath of the law.
Over 400 officers and men of the ogun state police command were addressed by the management of the command led by the commissioner of police Abiodun Alamutu.
The message was focused on addressing members of the public with due respect and to also ensure that the image of the police is projected positively.
Commissioner Alamutu cautioned the police against stop and search operations and to desist from extorting money from motorists but to be professional while carrying out their duties
Deputy Commissioner iof Police in charge of CID, Bode ojajuni and DCP, Operations, Bolanle Muritala among others were in attendance.
