Bayelsa State Govt. decries dwindling federal account earnings

The Bayelsa State government has decried a sharp fall in the federation allocation account accrued to the state which has drastically affected its monthly revenues.

The state government said the downturn in revenues followed deductions at source on revenues of the state from the disputed oil wells between Bayelsa and Rivers states.

The government made the announcement while rendering account of the financial status of the State for the months of August, September, and October 2020.
