Minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, says the southeast governors are committed to creating victims fund to compensate and help victims of violence.
Fielding questions from state house correspondents after Wednesday’s federal executive council meeting, Onyeama said the governors will also engage more closely with the youths to address the agitations as a result of the EndSARS protests.
The minister said the governors during the meeting with stakeholders from the southeast over EndSARS protests, promised to set up a mechanism for constant dialogue with the youths and all other stakeholders in the region.
