The Rivers State Executive Council has approved the budget of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission to conduct Local Government elections scheduled for the first quarter 2021.
The council on Monday also considered and approved the Medium Term Expenditure Framework, MTEF for the state for 2021 to 2023.

Consequently, council members approved the state’s budget estimate for the year 2021 for presentation to the State House of Assembly.
