Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has directed the Benue State Police Command and other security agencies to ensure that killers of the Associate Professor of Engineering at the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi, Karl Kwaghger are immediately apprehended.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, the Governor condemned the gruesome murder and described it as totally unacceptable.
He called for thorough investigation into the incident and reaffirms the resolve of his administration to sustain the fight against crime in all its ramifications.

Governor Ortom consoled the family of the late Kwaghger and assured them that those behind the killing of their son, husband and father must be brought to justice.
He prayed God to grant the slain university lecturer eternal rest.
