A former Head of States and Chairman of the National Peace Committee, NPC, Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar has called on all contestants in the Saturday’s elections taking place across the country for seats in the National Assembly to obey all the laws and the processes laid down by relevant authorities.
Abdusalam, in a statement signed by him said Nigerians are expecting a lot from candidates not to create more problems for the nation during the electoral process to avoid adding to enormous challenges the country is currently facing Particularly losses of human lives and destructions of billions of properties.

The NPC also appealed to supporters of all the candidates to play by the rules and conduct themselves with utmost discipline to ensure the poll is peaceful and credible to serve as an example for elections in the future.
