Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar III has declared the commencement of the 2024 Ramadan fasting on Monday, March 11.
This follows the sighting of the new crescent of Ramadan under the Islamic year of 1445AH in some places across the country.
