Federal lawmaker representing Bauchi Central Abdul Ningi, has insisted that N3.7 trillion is not traceable to any project in the N28.7 trillion 2024 budget, passed and assented to by President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking to journalists on Monday Ningi says he is not afraid of being suspended for speaking the truth.

Ningi says he didn’t speak on behalf of the Northern Senators Forum-pointing out that he’s capable of carrying his own Cross

The senator says there was no time in the interview where he said President Tinubu was implementing two budgets and that he was biased against the North

Ningi says based on findings from consultant hired, N25 trillion can be verified and accounted for in the 2024 budget based on projects, monies and location while insisting that the remaining N3.7 trillion in the budget cannot be verified

Senator Ningi while briefing journalists in the National Assembly agreed that both chambers passed N28.7trillion budget for 2024 fiscal year , which was N1.2trillion above the N27.5trillion proposed by President Tinubu
