President Bola Tinubu has sworn-in 17 Federal Commissioners for the National Population Commission, NPoC at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The ceremony was held shortly before commencement of the weekly meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation.
It will be recalled that NPoC postponed the planned National Population and Housing Census which was initially scheduled to hold immediately after the 2023 general election. President Tinubu is now expected to approve a new date for the exercise.
