The Federal civil service pensioners members are going spiritual even as they are threatening naked protests over unpaid ‘wage award’, as promised by government after the subsidy removal on fuel.

The Federal civil service pensioners argued that thirty five thousand naira was approved and paid to workers, while twenty five thousand naira for retirees, as palliatives, before a New minimum wage and minimum pensions.

Sunday, Omezi, presirent of the retirees, at a briefing in Abuja says the six months period for the.wage award is expiring in April, yet Pensooners remain unattended to, with hunger, Sickness and starvation killing them daily.

The retired Federal civil servants appealed to Nigerian leaders not to ignore senior citizens, who used their youthful ages to contribute to the growth and development of the country.

The federal civil service pensioners is a branch of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners.
