FG Will Not Launch Student Loan Scheme Prog On Thursday…. NELFund

The Much talked about student loan scheme initially billed for launch on Thursday, March 14 has again been put on hold.

A statement from the executive Secretary Nigeria Education Loan fund, NELFund, Akintunde Sawyerr and signed by the Funds spokesman, Nasir Ayitogo said the postponement is not indefinite.

The statement said the Fund wants to involve more critical stakeholder, for a more successful scheme.

It said President Bola Tinubu has approved all necessary financial obligation for smooth take off of the programme.

NELFund says the application portal is still opened and qualified students can go ahead and apply.

NELFund says it regrets the postponement and promised it will be flagged off in the shortest possible time.
