Some Concerned Rivers State citizens have condemned Rivers State lawmakers for formulating and passing bills that have no bearing on the lives of Rivers People, stressing that their defection to the All Progressives Congress APC without any genuine reason for leaving their party violates the electoral act.
The people who made the condemnation in Port Harcourt also slammed the Senate president Godswill Akpabio for attacking the Rivers state governor Siminalaiyi Fubara at the burial ceremony of Herbert Wigwe.
The citizens further stated that, despite the political crisis in the state, the governor has been maintaining a peaceful disposition and had been committed in delivering the dividends of democracy to Rivers people.
While craving for peace, the concerned Rivers citizens appealed to all the political gladiators to sheath their swords and join hands with the executive governor Siminalayi Fubara to bring good governance to Rivers people.
