Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has expressed gratitude to the people of Owerri zone, for the honour bestowed on him, on his developmental stride so far since he assumed office.
Uzodimma stated this, while addressing the people of the zone at a grand reception organised for him at the Hero Square, Owerri last weekend.
The event which drew guests from Owerri and other parts of the state, according to the organizers, was meant to express their gratitude, for the massive infrastructural and development projects, going on in Owerri the state capital, and indeed the Imo East Senatorial District.
The Deputy Governor, Placid Njoku, and chairman of the occasion Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu commended the Governor, for all the massive and commendable projects, he embarked upon since elected into office.
Responding Governor Uzodimma, promised the people, that the honour would spur him to do more.

The Governor also received a chieftaincy title of Onwa na etiri oha while his wife Chidimma Uzodimma bagged Achara Ugo of owerri.
