Niger State Police Commissioner Shawulu Danmamman, has bagged the ‘Security Man of the Year’ award from the African Trust Magazine.
The management of the magazine, led by Adebayo Adekunle, during the presentation of the award said after visiting twenty-one police commands, reports from the Niger State Police Command within the short period of CP Danmamman’s leadership showed a considerable number of arrests and recovery of cash, arms, and ammunition.

A statement by the state police spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun, says the Police Commissioner was surprised by the award. describing it as another call to duty with added responsibility.
He dedicated the award to the officers and men of the command for complimenting his efforts with their performance on the field.
