French President Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for the corona virus.
The confirmation of the France leader’s test came from a statement released by the Elysee Palace early on Thursday .
Macro was said to be having mild symptons and a test revealed he had contracted the deadly virus which has killed almost sixty thousand people, and not less than two million infected in the country.

Macron will continue to work remotely, even as he commences a seven-day isolation, the statement added.
