Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed and some Muslim faithful in Nigeria have appealed for more support for the vulnerable and less privileged children in the society especially during the month of Ramadan.
The governor made the appeal during Friday’s Jumaat prayer in one of the mosques in Asokoro, Abuja.
The Bauchi state governor alongside other Some Muslim faithful said the sharp hike in the prices of commodities in the market across Nigeria was already taking its toll on the vulnerable people hence the need for increased support for them especially during this month of Ramadan.
Some of the worshipers reminded Muslim faithful in the country of the inherent blessings attached to the Month of Ramadan hence they must provide for the poor and needy among them.
The Muslim faithful in Asokoro mosque used the first Jumaat in the Month of Ramadan to pray for peace and unity as well as accelerated socioeconomic development of the country.
