11 more persons die of Covid-19 as Nigeria records 806 new cases

There are 11 Covid-19 deaths recorded across Nigeria including 6 fatalities in Gombe State in the last 48 hours with the national death toll rising to 1,212.

This is as 26 states have reported 806 new Covid-19 infections bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 77,013.

The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-287; FCT-255; Kaduna-36; Akwa Ibom-29; Katsina and Rivers-25 each; Kwara-21; Bauchi-19; Kano-15 and Ondo-14.

Other states with new Covid-19 cases are Plateau-13; Yobe-12; Nasarawa-11; Ebonyi-9; Gombe-8; Abia-7; Delta and Imo-4 each; Osun-3; Anambra and Borno-2 each; Cross River, Edo, Ekiti, Jigawa and Ogun-1 each.

Meanwhile, Covid-19 treatment centres in Nigeria have discharged 374 patients in the last 24 hours. There are now 67,484 successfully treated Covid-19 cases in Nigeria.
