Police in Kano have arrested one Gambo Yakubu for fraud and impersonating Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa.
The suspect aged 30 and an ex-employee at the Ahmed Musa sports complex located at Hotoro GRA owned by the Nigerian international, forged documents bearing Ahmed Musa’s name to defraud people on the pretext that he will connect them with football clubs in Europe.

A statement signed by police public relations officer DSP Haruna Abdullahi said the suspect has collected seven hundred thousand naira from at least 15 people which he spent holidaying in hotels in Sabon Gari.
The Super Eagles captain commends the police for the arrest, the statement concluded.
