The Chairman of Shiroro Local Government Council of Niger State, Sulaiman Chukuba, has been suspended indefinitely by the councillors.
The councillors were alleging that Sulaiman Chukuba had misappropriated over two hundred million Naira which cannot be accounted for.
They include, One hundred million Naira which was generated as tenement rate, paid into the Local Government Account, and over a hundred and twenty million Naira meant for projects, which have not been executed.

The councillors under their leader, Yusuf Aliyu, added that no one can give the true financial position of the Local Government.
On his part, the suspended Council Chairman, Sulaiman Chukuba said, he was yet to see any document or complaint letter, containing the allegations.
