The Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Clem Ikanade Agba has described cultural festivals of various groups in the country as a major ingredient in national integration.
The Minister, who was the special guest of honour at the AU UKHUA cultural festival at Iviukhua, Agenebode in Edo state described the festival as an economic driver through which the quest for diversification of the Nigerian economy can be attained.
The Au Ukhua cultural festival is a yearly event which started in 2002 to showcase the rich heritage of the IvbieUkhua community in Etsako East local government area of Edo state.

The leadership of AU UKHUA community worldwide led by Kennedy Izuagbe while acknowledging the significant role culture plays in unifying the people commended the Minister, Clem Agba, for facilitating the construction/asphalting of Iviukhua and other Egori communities roads adding that it ensure that the yearly Au Ukhua Carnival attracts both local and international tourists.
Masquerades and other cultural groups that performed at the 2020 edition of Au Ukhua Carnival include Mammy Water and Okhor from Agenebode, Ogumogu and Abetheme from Iviukwe, Osabor dance from Iviukhua, and other dignitaries at the event include Senator Francis Alimikhena, Professor Ikhimalo, and Tony Akiotu GMD DAAR Communications plc.
