The Ondo State House of Assembly says that it passed 20 bills in 2020.
The Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun stated this while reflecting on the activities of the lawmakers in the year 2020 during plenary in Akure.
Oloyelogun noted that the bills were fundamental to the betterment of the state.
The Speaker maintained that the lawmakers were poised for the development of the state being representatives of the people.
Oloyelogun, also informed that the lawmakers would proceed on 8-week recess, commencing from Monday.

Earlier during the sitting, the Assembly passed 4 different bills for onward transmission to the Governor for his assent. This includes the Bill for a Law to provide for Regulation of Outdoor Structure for the Display of Signage, Hoarding and Advertisement in Ondo State and for Connected Purposes.
The second is the Bill for a Law to provide for establishment of Ondo State Public Service Training Institute and for Connected Purposes Thereto.
There is also the Bill to Amend the Law to Protect and control fisheries exploitation in Ondo State and to prevent use of obnoxious substances in the Process and a Bill to Repeal the Ondo State Electric Power Law.
