Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule (on suit) welcomes former LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has called on former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi to support President Bola Tinubu to succeed in developing Nigeria. He made the call when Obi visited him in Lafia, the state capital.

The 2023 election in Nigeria was one which saw opposition parties like the Labour Party pulling their weight across board during the polls.

The Governor during the visit said that elections were over, maintaining that every President requires the support of all Nigerians including those in opposition to move the country forward.

Sule added that the President means well for the country and any strategy towards addressing insecurity, economic hardship, and other challenges confronting the country should be put forward for consideration.

He commended Peter Obi for providing boreholes in some communities in the state to complement efforts towards providing amenities for the people.

For Peter Obi, the visit was part of his nationwide tour to offer support to Nigerians during Ramadan. He lauded Governor Sule for constructing new roads in Nasarawa State adding that the move is giving the state a new look.

Obi again noted that he is not desperate to be President of the country, but desperate to see Nigeria work for the good of all.
