The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kano State is deepening, as a new faction emerged Sunday, bringing the number of factions to three.
The new faction made up of political disciples of the late former Governor, Abubakar Rimi held its congress, where new executives emerged.
The faction vowed to revive the political ideology of Rimi, and change the political terrain in the State.

The crisis within the opposition party in the State has changed political permutations.
The faction loyal to former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has elected party executives.
Almost immediately, the Aminu Wali-led the camp held its congress, and appointed Mamina Lamido as chairman, who announced the suspension of Senator Kwankwaso who is the leader of the Kwankwasiyya Camp.
The new chairman of the Rimi camp, Adamu Sanda however says, there is only one PDP in the State, as they battle to take over power in 2023.
What is yet to be ascertained, is the position of the National Secretariat of the party on which faction it recognises among the three as the authentic executives of the party in the State.
