Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ette Ibas says the war against maritime Crimes and Criminality on the Nation’s waterways cannot be fought without a befitting welfare scheme for personnel who are maintaining the territorial integrity of the Country.

Vice Admiral ibok Ette Ibas Stated this in Calabar Monday, during the commissioning of the multi-million-naira accommodation for Senior officers and Ratings.

Ibas who was represented by the Commander,Eastern Fleets,Rear Admiral Perry Onwuzulike said the project envisioned under his leadership was geared towards improving the Nigerian Navy capacity and personnel welfare.

He enjoined the beneficiaries of the facilities to exercise the duty- of -care in the use of the houses and to also maintain them properly.

The two bedroom,one bed room and one room semi detached fully furnished accomodation are located at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Primary Schools and Akim Barracks in Calabar, Cross River State.
