Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Sabo Nanono has expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of work on a 3.5 kilometer link road in Kabo local government of Kano state.
Nanono expressed his anger during an inspection tour of the project.
The Minister while inspecting the level of progress of projects in Tofa, Kabo and Garko local governments of Kano state said the pace and the quality of the work done on the rural road project at Kabo local government area was unacceptable.

He told the contractors handling the project to meet agreed specifications and timelines of the contract which on completion will ease transportation of farm produce to the markets.
The rural roads project under the ministry of agriculture and Rural Development is designed to link farming communities with markets to enhance the distribution and sale of agricultural produce
