The determination of the Nigerian Navy, in addressing insufficient accommodation for its personnel, is receiving a boost in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, where four key projects including a junior officers transit accommodation, have been commissioned.

The flag officer, commanding the Central Naval Command, Saidu Garba, who commissioned the projects, on behalf of the Nigerian Chief Of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok -Ete Ekwe Ibas, assured men of the command of commitment, towards achieving better welfare for the officers.

The  central naval command in Yenagoa, housed on a  vast land  along the Mbiama Yenagoa  road, is  being transformed through the building of critical  infrastructure, in line with the vision of the Nigerian Chief Of The Naval Staff, Vice Admiral, of providing quality accommodation  for its personnel.

Four key projects were commissioned as part of the commemoration of this year’s armed forces remembrance day.
