The Bayelsa State Government says it will continue to support the Nigerian Armed Forces and families of those who died in active and selfless service to maintain Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
Governor Douye Diri made the pledge in the state capital Yenagoa at the emblem appeal week launch for the 2021 Armed forces remembrance day celebration.
Governor Diri called on members of the society, especially political office holders to continue to lend support to families of the nation’s fallen heroes
The event also witnessed the decoration of the Governor, Deputy Governor and other dignitaries at the event with the armed forces remembrance emblem.

Bayelsa will join other states across the country to mark Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebrated annually on January 15.
