Taraba State University has resumed for academic activities following a 10 months recess occasioned by the Covid -19 pandemic as well as the ASUU strike action.
The resumption is in compliance with federal government directives that tertiary institutions resume on the 18th of January.
Staff and students were seen on campus, all trying to pick up from where they stopped in January last year.
The Covid-19 prevention guidelines were being observed by most of the students, especially the wearing of face masks.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Vincent Tenebe, also took a tour of the school, to emphasize the need for compliance with the Covid-19 protocols.

He says, all internal issues will be resolved, to ensure that the school does not go on another strike.
He also said that the institution’s curriculum has been adjusted to conveniently cover for the lost months.
Professor Tenebe added that the school has fumigated its environment before the resumption, and will continue to uphold Covid-19 protocols in all its activities.
