Kano

Residents of Kano are battling a severe hazy and cold harmattan weather that has forced many to remain indoors.

The last time Kano witnessed hazy weather was in December 2019. Many residents are at home since the state government has directed civil servants to stay at home because of rising cases of covid19. Those with businesses to attend to outside use protective clothing against the cold weather.

There is poor visibility on the roads as motorists and other road users drive with caution.
