Business and social activities have returned to one of the major business areas of Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia state, as Governor Okezie Ikpeazu commissioned the completed three cluster roads of Milverton, Eziukwu and Ojike roads in the city.

The roads had before now remained impassable for years while business and commercial activities within the areas became non-existent with severe and unpalatable economic consequences to the state, traders and the business community.

Sources say banks and luxury bus transport operators were the worst hit during the days of the dilapidated roads as some commercial banks relocated to more accessible locations within the city.

Speaking while commissioning the roads which is part of what is referred to as, the Kinetic Abia project, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, said his adminstration is poised to delivering road infrastructure that will stand the test of time

For the people of the area, especially traders who have returned to their base following the completion of the roads, it is a prayer answered

Government officials hint that three additional completed roads in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State, will soon be commissioned.
