Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State, has called on both the Legislative and JudicialArms of government, to initiate stiff laws that will punish bandits’ informants.
Governor Bello made the request in Minna, shortly after the confirmation of the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Aisha Bwari.

The Governor had expressed worries over the increasing activities of the kidnappers, bandits, and cattle rustlers across the state.
The Niger State Chief Executive, added that hundreds of lives have been lost, while thousands of people have also been rendered homeless.
He stressed that the bandits and kidnappers’ successes, are tied to the information, from their informants.
