The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, has postponed till further notice the institution’s examination scheduled for January 24.
According to a statement signed by the Acting Registrar of the institution, Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa, the postponement was necessitated by trailer
accident that claimed the lives of about 10 students of the university.
He hinted that the institution has already informed the state government about the unfortunate incident.
He further stated that the institution would work with the government to prevent a reoccurrence.

Meanwhile, as a temporary measure, the management has also directed that the main gate be closed with immediate effect.
