The chairman of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State, Salihu Dovo is dead.
Dovo was murdered a few hours after he was abducted in his Jalingo residence, at Sabon Gari, not too far from a Mobile Police Camp.
Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, David Misal, confirmed the report, hinting that two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident.

He also said that the police have launched an investigation into the issue.
