Gombe State Commissioner for Works, Engr Abubakar Bappah, has called on the Federal Ministry of Works to rehabilitate the poor state of roads in the bordering communities of Gombe, Bauchi, and Yobe states to ease of movement between the states.

The plea is coming following calls from the residents of the bordering communities which includes the Nafada Local Government Area in neighbouring Yobe State and Akko Local Government Areas close to the borders with Bauchi State.

He urged the Federal Ministry of Works to do something urgently about the affected roads before the rainy season sets in.
