The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has reiterated his administration’s efforts to ensure quality health care service delivery to the citizens.
Bala Mohammed said this, during the flag-off of the fumigation exercise for Malaria Prevention and Control, across the twenty local government areas of the state.
Malaria has been identified as one of the communicable diseases, caused by the mosquito parasites that poses major health challenges to the human body.


The State governor, represented by the Director-General, Bauchi State Sanitation And Environmental Protection Agency (BASEPA), Dr.Ibrahim Kabir, called on the people to support the fumigation exercise.

The DG BASEPA, enjoined the general public not to panic, as the chemicals are human body system friendly.
About five million Naira has been earmarked for the three days exercise, expected to cover about 120 wards, within the state capital.
