Respite is coming to residents of Elebele and neighboring communities plying the Ogbia-Nembe road whose bridge linking the communities collapsed since 2019.
This followed the state government’s approval of N1.5 billion for the reconstruction of the bridge.

The announcement came at the Executive Council meeting on Wednesday in Yenagoa. The council also approved 1.8 billion naira for the construction of a two-storey building for the Bayelsa State-owned media stations.
