The Delta State Police Command has assured enforcement on movement restriction orders as directed by the State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa to curtail the rising cases of COVID-19 pandemic in the State.
Commissioner of Police, Ari Mohammed in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Onome Onovwakpoyeya said with the imposition of curfew which starts from 10pm to 4am, everyday; residents of the State are to desist from any form of night activities.
The statement further directed all Area Commanders, DPOs and Heads of Tactical/Operational Departments of the Command to ensure strict enforcement of the orders.

While urging residents to adhere to stipulated preventive measures against COVID-19 such as physical distancing, wearing of face mask and washing of hands with soap and water; the statement warned that anyone found defaulting will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
