Caretaker committee chairman of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Abbot Ogbobula says the party will go ahead with its scheduled revalidation execise when the national Secretariat gives the nod.

Ogbobula who stated this in an exclusive chat with ait.live while reacting to an exparte order stopping the party from going ahead with the exercise said the party is least worried about some political jobbers who have conducted primaries to run in the council polls in Rivers State

These are certainly trying times for the Rivers State chapter of the All progressives Congress, APC,as the factional caretaker committee chairman of the party Abbot Ogbobula says the party was fully prepared to kick start the revalidation exercise in Rivers State despite the court order handed down against the excercise from yet another faction of the Party headed by Golden Chioma.

Ogbobula said the party is drawing its strength from an Abuja high court judgement which favoured the party to go ahead with its revalidation exercise as scheduled by the National Secretariat.

He stressed that the Abuja high court ruling is more than enough push for them to update their membership and not the exparte order stopping them from doing so

On participation in the forthcoming local council polls,he said those who are parading themselves as party members were on their own.

The days ahead will tell whether Rivers State APC will update its membership in the state and participate at the council polls.
