Key actors in Bayelsa State, have decided to set aside their political affiliations and joined hands to ensure that the State stands tall with quality development among the committee of Nigerian states.

This was the overriding message at a town hall meeting in Yenagoa, where leaders of the state gathered to discuss the way forward for a more prosperous Bayelsa.

They all agreed at the gathering that, despite being one of the largest crude oil and natural gas producing states in Nigeria, development in Bayelsa state was not commesurate with its natural deposits.
