The feat, according to the Commissioner of Police, Sanusi Buba, was achieved when the Area Commander of Dutsinma, Aminu Umar, received a distress call, about the activities of the suspected bandits, numbering about fifty, who attacked both Ungwar Bera and Tashar Mangoro villages.

He said the bandits were later rounded up and engaged in gun duel, while the others escaped into the forest.

Buba said, the Area Commander led a team of police personnel who laid ambush against the hoodlums, where the 3 bandits were neutralized.

While restating the command’s readiness to deal ruthlessly with banditry and other forms of crimes and criminality, he warned bandits still carrying out nefarious activitie to either turn a new leaf or face the full wrath of the law.
