Despite efforts by the Federal Government to quell another strike in Nigerian universities, two Non-Teaching Staff Unions have directed their members to down tool from midnight, Friday, February 5.

A circular to universities branches and signed by NASU General Secretary, Peters Adeyemi and SSANU President, Mohammed Haruna, directed workers to stay away from work after a meeting with government on Tuesday, February 2 failed to address their demands.
