The Federal Government says it will continue to initiate and encourage programmes that will allow students to explore their potentials in the fields of arts and science
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, made this known in Minna, the Niger State capital, during the flag off ceremony of Secondary Schools Festival of Arts.
Adamu stressed that given the right atmosphere and opportunities, arts and science can provide jobs.
The Registrar, Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council, NECO, Professor Godswill Obioma, represented the Minister at the occasion.
Some dignitaries at the occasion also corroborated the minister’s view.
The Secondary Schools Festival of Arts and Science witnessed schools from different parts of the country participating, with the hope of winning.

No doubt that new talents in poetry, the creative arts, and cultural performance will be discovered at the Festival
