Rivers State Governor, Nysom Wike, has again called for the amendment of the Electoral Act to ensure and guarantee free, fair, and credible elections in the country.
Wike is optimistic that once this is done, political office holders will begin to owe their allegiance to the people that voted them into power.

The Governor said a strong Electoral Act and effective deployment of card readers will curb rigging and other forms of election malpractices.
