Commercial tricycle operators to pay N100 daily tax in Kano

Kano State Road and Traffic Agency, KAROTA, says it will soon begin the enforcement of the payment of 100 naira daily tax by commercial tricycle operators for the state board of internal revenue.

Managing Director of the agency, Baffa Dan Agundi, said this on Wednesday while interacting with reporters.

The KAROTA MD said the payment would be done in the designated banks according to the internal revenue service modalities.

Danagundi who is also the Acting Director of the Kano State Consumers Protection Commission said the agency has impounded unwanted goods worth 300 million naira in less than two months.
