Kogi Security : Gov. Ododo Unveils Metropolitan Quick Response Squad

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has launched the Metropolitan Quick Response, a security initiative aimed at checking the upsurge of criminal activities in Lokoja, the state capital and other major towns in Kogi state.

Governor Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to effectively deal with criminals in the state to guarantee the safety and security of lives and property of the people of Kogi state.

The Governor promised to continue to give top priority to technological enablers to enhance capabilities in intelligence gathering to combat emerging security threats in the state.

Governor ODODO commended the gallantry and dedication of all security agencies in the state and assured them that the state government will continue to appreciate their efforts in keeping the state safe.

The kogi state chief executive however appealed to citizens of the state to be proactive and remain vigilant and always provide credible and timely information to security agencies in the state.

The security outfit code named “Metropolitan Quick Response” is in partnership with the Rapid Response Squad of the Nigeria Police and the joint task force of security agencies in the state.
